The benefits of studying Lower Primary Humanities
Our Primary Humanities homeschooling course will start to develop in your child an awareness and knowledge of the world.
This course covers the requirements of the English National Curriculum for Geography and History over two years and aims to enable children to:
- Develop knowledge of the key human and physical features of their local area alongside developing their early fieldwork skills;
- Explore how life is different in contrasting locations across the world;

Once completed, our Lower Primary Humanities homeschooling course lays the foundations for children to transition smoothly to our Upper Primary History and Geography courses.

The Wolsey Hall approach to reading and phonics is especially well designed. Wolsey approaches learning letter sounds in “layers”. This has made it possible for our daughter to learn to read in a matter of weeks without being overwhelmed. We find it remarkable that our 4 year old daughter is reading small books all on her own with confidence and enjoying it very much.
