Join Wolsey Hall Oxford as we celebrate our 130th anniversary in 2024!
Starting out as a correspondence college in 1894 and growing over 130 years to become the world’s most experienced online home study provider is one amazing milestone that we want to commemorate!

We have invited all Wolsey Hall students and staff to join hands across the globe to plant as many trees as we can during 2024. It can be as simple as planting one tree in your garden or joining a community group to plant several in your local area. Perhaps you can encourage friends and relatives to get digging too.
As Wolsey Hall was established in 1894 our target is to plant 1,894 trees so we have a big target to reach! Can you help us?! We’ll be providing regular updates here and on our social media.
To date we have planted over 300 trees which is fantastic but let’s keep going! You can see below some of our students who have planted trees around the world.

Unable to plant a tree?
Don’t worry if you don’t have access to any outdoor space to plant a tree. There are a couple of other ways to get involved:
- You can join in by using the internet search engine Ecosia. For every 50 web searches you do, they plant a tree on your behalf. You can track your searches, and the number of trees planted, in the top right-hand side of your screen once you’re using Ecosia.
- You can donate trees through charitable organisations like One Tree Planted or The Nature Conservancy.
