Nicola Timbrell

Student Progress Manager

Nicola lived in Australia for three years during childhood. It gave her a fascination for the world, its people and geography. At university she studied Geology and the Environment and then a further qualification in Computing.

After a research role investigating the use of the use of multimedia in teaching in the 1990s, she developed award-winning interactive learning software for the educational publishing market. Nicola then went on to teach digital publishing at university level for over 20 years, loving supporting students and watching them grow.

Nicola’s sons were home educated through secondary level. Now they are much taller than her, she enjoys working for Wolsey Hall, supporting other families with children aged 11 upwards and adult learners.
